Choose your devices
One desktop app can share its computer and connect to another. Features vary by platform.
Host or viewer?
| Platform | Role | Current implementation |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | Host and viewer | One app: sharing in the menu bar, remote computers in windows. Build target macOS 15+. |
| iPhone / iPad | Viewer | Touch, accessories and mobile layouts. Build target iOS/iPadOS 18+. |
| Windows | Host and viewer | One product with a desktop app and host service. |
| Linux | Host and viewer | Desktop app plus host service; terminal-only host mode for servers. |
| Android | Viewer | Mobile client and terminal support. Build target Android 10+. |
Feature availability is negotiated
A feature must be supported by both devices. Picture formats depend on system decoders and graphics drivers. Extreme requires a compatible graphics path. HDR, virtual displays, controller passthrough and microphone forwarding are not universal.
The Windows and Linux desktop viewers currently cover desktop picture, keyboard and mouse, sound, text clipboard, pairing, account UI, settings and reconnecting. They do not yet expose file transfer, terminal, microphone forwarding, game controllers, two computers side by side, several simultaneous displays or HDR. The Windows viewer also does not currently offer Sharp Text.
Linux hosts do not currently offer Privacy Mode. Windows hosts do not offer terminals or a virtual microphone. Mac and Linux hosts can offer terminals to iPhone/iPad and Android viewers.
Releases and Pro
These describe the current application implementation, not a promise that every build is available in a public store. Use release links supplied by Erasmus Labs when available.
Pro is a one-time unlock for Extreme, Gaming, Two Displays, Sharp Text and manual network limits above 40 Mbps. It does not add features missing from a particular platform. The app shows the current price and purchase terms; internet service availability and relay limits are separate from local platform support.
